Are you experiencing financial hardship and in need of pet food?

We want to ensure that families who love their pets can continue to care for their pets regardless of financial ability.  The Pet Pantry program exists to ensure that a lack of food won’t cause a family to be broken apart, due to surrendering the pet to a shelter, and to decrease stress on the people who love their pets.

Food from our Pet Pantry program comes from donations and there are capacity limitations. If you have the means to obtain pet food elsewhere, please do so. This enables HSSV to continue providing food to families who would not be able to feed their pets otherwise.

This program is designed to be a short-term safety net and not the primary source of food for your pets. We will provide set amounts of dry non-prescription pet food to help those with short term critical needs and those who need supplemental support.

Pet Pantry is available to all family residents of Santa Clara County experiencing financial instability.
