Ringworm Adoption Program
With HSSV’s Foster to Adopt Ringworm Program, we’ll provide you with all the tools and resources you need to rehabilitate, and eventually adopt, a ringworm kitten from the comfort of your own home. This offers a unique opportunity to bond with your new kitten throughout their healing journey, while also creating precious space at the shelter for other animals in need.
Rehabilitating a ringworm kitten is a process, but don’t worry – we’ve got your back! We’ll pair you with an experienced “Ringworm Mentor” who will guide you through every step of your kitten’s recovery. Our Medical, Foster, and Adoptions teams will provide you with all the support you need, and all medical costs during their treatment period (including spay/neuter and vaccinations) are covered by HSSV.
Sign up and training to participate in this program can be entirely completed online in just 45 minutes. Once your kitten is officially cleared for ringworm, you can make it official for a reduced adoption fee of only $10 – our way of saying “thank you” for being your kitten’s hero!
