Humane Society Silicon Valley (HSSV) provides professional dog grooming services at our Animal Community Center in Milpitas. Let our groomers recommend the right service for your pet! HSSV Grooming Salon is open Monday – Friday, 10:00am to 5:00pm, by appointment only. We thank you for your patronage. All profits go to helping our shelter dogs experience the grooming salon in preparation for finding their forever homes!

All pets will need a current rabies vaccination to promote a healthy environment and an appointment to enable us to do our best work.

Dog Park

The member’s only dog park at Humane Society Silicon Valley’s Animal Community Center is Silicon Valley’s first park for sophisticated dogs and their owners, open to dog-lovers who are willing to uphold and abide by the park’s rules and regulations. We promote education towards responsible dog ownership and having well-behaved, happy dogs!

The parks are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year! Regular hours of operation are:
6 a.m. – 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Interested in becoming a member of the Sue and Dick Levy Dog Park? Follow these steps: 

  1. Make sure your dog is:
    • Spayed or neutered
    • Current on their vaccinations (DA2PP, CIV, Bordetella, and Rabies)
    • At least six months old
  2. Attend a one-time Dog Park Etiquette seminar (find dates on our events list and register)
  3. Fill out the dog park application online (application link will be given at the end of the Dog Park Etiquette seminar)
  4. Once you’re accepted, pick up your card key and pay the membership fee at our Whole Pets Store!
