Rotary Club of San Jose
San Jose Rotarians serve youth, the homeless and disadvantaged, arts organizations, senior programs and veterans groups in our community by volunteering our time, providing hands on assistance and leveraging our financial resources to support other nonprofit groups.
WeCARE alliance is a group of six shelters in Santa Clara County, California, with one goal: To find homes for every homeless animal in Silicon Valley. WeCARE was formed to increase adoptions and spay/neuter surgeries, increase the communication between organizations and to heighten community-wide awareness about saving healthy and treatable animals.
Downtown Streets Team
Downtown Streets Team is ending homelessness by restoring the dignity and rebuilding the lives of unhoused men and women. We now serve over 750 unhoused men and women a year with almost 50 staff members and growing. Our goal is to end homelessness in our lifetime: one community at a time.
California Humane Animal Transition Team (CHATT) is a coalition of shelters, animal control agencies, and rescue groups whose goal is to increase lifesaving and improve animal welfare in California’s Central Valley. The coalition is compromised of Humane Society Silicon Valley, San Francisco SPCA, Marin Humane, Fresno Humane Animal Services, Tulare County Animal Services, Kings County Animal Services, and Central Valley Rescue Railroad.
Humane Society Silicon Valley (HSSV) offers two Petco Neighborhood Adoption Centers (NACs) in Sunnyvale and West San Jose. The NACs feature dogs, cats, rabbits, and pocket pets in need of permanent, loving homes. Search our Available Animals & visit Sunnyvale and West San Jose NACs in Petco today.
HSSV exclusively uses HomeAgain microchips for all of the dogs, cats, and rabbits adopted through HSSV as well as for pets of clients who come to HSSV’s Medical Center.
