Farrington Historical Foundation’s mission is to promote the appreciation of our Valley’s heritage and improve the community for future generations. They have granted over $90,000 since 1997, supporting programs like Trap-Neuter-Return and free transportation for pet owners to receive services.
The PEDIGREE Foundation is dedicated to helping animal shelters and rescue organizations find loving homes for dogs in need. In 2020, they provided $10,000 to help dogs succeed in their new homes through dog training scholarships.

WeCARE alliance is a group of six shelters in Santa Clara County, California, with one goal: to find homes for every homeless animal in Silicon Valley. WeCARE was formed to save more lives among our organizations and to heighten community-wide awareness about saving healthy and treatable animals.
CHATT is a coalition of shelters, animal control agencies, and rescue groups whose goal is to increase lifesaving and improve animal welfare in California’s Central Valley. The coalition is comprised of HSSV, San Francisco SPCA, Marin Humane, Fresno Humane Animal Services, Tulare County Animal Services, Kings County Animal Services, and Madera County Animal Services
The Health Trust is building health equity in Silicon Valley for vulnerable populations by aligning funder, provider, and advocate roles to maximize the impact. They have partnered with HSSV to allow our organization to provide Meals on Wheels style pet food support to homebound pet owners in need.
Using a “One Health” approach to street medicine, Street Dog Coalition (SDC) cares for the lives on both ends of the leash. SDC, through Whole Pet Vet, and HSSV have partnered to provide free wellness, vaccines, and spay/neuter services to pet owners in need on the third Sunday of the month near Happy Hollow Park and Zoo.
