Humane Society Silicon Valley is the world’s first model shelter. We not only make it our mission to save animals, we do so with an eye to the future, providing innovative service and standards of care to serve both people and animals.

Creating a Path Forward, Together

“When I first stepped into my new role as HSSV president in January 2020, I was thrilled to execute on the organization’s impressive strategic initiatives. But when COVID hit in March, many of those plans came to a screeching halt. What came next was a quick introduction to HSSV’s amazing community and how they stepped up to help us navigate this challenging time and save lives.” -Kurt Krukenberg
