Make an Appointment

Step 1: Click on “Request an Appointment” below

Step 2: Under “Appointment Type,” select Large Dog Spay/Neuter Program

Step 3: Under “Select Provider,” select Large Dog Surgery

Step 4: Pick a surgery date, complete the form, including your mobile number, and press Book Appointment

Step 5: If you reside in zip code 95111, 95112, 95113, 95116, 95122, 95127 or 95035, and you own a breed of dog that is typically 50lbs or more, we will confirm your appointment within 48 hours of your request via phone/email. However, if you do not write in a dog breed, or aren’t sure of your dog’s breed, we will give you a call to discuss and ensure you meet the requirements of this program.

I have a puppy whose adult weight will be 50lbs or over

Step 3: Under “Select Provider,” select Large Dog Surgery

Step 4: Under “Special Request (optional)” add in your puppy’s age and weight.

Step 5: Pick a surgery date, complete the form, including your mobile number, and press Book Appointment

Step 6: If you reside in zip code 95111, 95112, 95113, 95116, 95122, 95127, or 95035, we will confirm your appointment within 48 hours of your request via phone/email. We will determine if the puppy is a large breed dog based on current weight. This will be verified by medical staff (on-site).

When you Arrive

Arrive by 7:00 AM – 7:30 AM on day of appointment
Enter the Medical Center through the “feline side”, regardless of whether you have a dog or cat
If you arrive after 7:30AM, you may need to reschedule to a later date.

Payment & Records

This program is paid for through a generous grant, and you are welcome to make a donation, payment is not required for service to be rendered.
We can print and/or email your dog’s medical records to you.

Late Drop Disclaimer

If the medical staff are unable to handle your dog upon arrival, you must stay on site until your dog is fully sedated and complete a pre-surgery examination before their spay/neuter surgery can proceed. This process can take up to 1.5 hrs.

Appointment slots will be open first Tuesday of every month.
