Donate Stock

Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)

A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a giving vehicle established at a public charity, with the following benefits:

1. Make a charitable contribution

2. Receive an immediate tax deduction

3. Recommend grants from the fund over time

You can easily request a gift for HSSV through your DAF administrator at any time.

If you have your DAF through Fidelity, Schwab, or BNY Mellon, you can request a gift through the portal:

INDIVIDUAL RETIREMENT ACCOUNT

If you are 70 1/2 or older, you can give to HSSV directly through a “Qualified Charitable Distribution” (QCD).

Simply Contact your IRA administrator and request for them to send the gift. Alternatively, your IRA might have provided a checkbook that allows you to send the gift yourself.

Why Give Through a QCD?

* Use your QCD to satisfy your required minimum distributions (RMD) for the year
* No income tax on your gift
* No requirement to itemize
* Lower taxable income could help lower Medicare premiums and taxable Social Security

Donate your car, truck, RV, motorcycle, or boat that we will turn into cash to support our mission. Receive a tax deduction and free vehicle towing.

How it Works

1. Complete this form to tell us about the gift you’d like to make.
2. Our car donation partner will contact you within 2-3 business days to schedule pick-up time, at no cost to you.
3. Tax documentation will be sent to you 30 days after the completion of the donation process for the full sale price of your vehicle!
