Saving Lives
HSSV is committed to saving healthy and treatable shelter animals in our community and beyond. Our programs include:
- Regional rescue with our partners
- Adoptions, foster, behavior, training
- Spay/neuter surgeries and extended medical care for homeless animals
How your gift can save more lives:
$350 supports spay/neuter surgeries for a stray cat and a stray dog
$500 funds care and feeding of 2 animals before finding homes
$1,200 provides treatment and care for a puppy with parvovirus
$3,000 funds transport to bring 35 vulnerable animals to HSSV
$10,000 funds behavior scholarships for 50 adopted animals
$25,000 funds transport to bring 300 vulnerable animals to HSSV
Keeping Families Together
HSSV believes every person deserves the opportunity to experience the emotional benefits of having a pet. We provide:
- Pet pantry program
- Mobile clinics with free wellness care, vaccinations, and spay/neuter services
- Emergency surgeries for owned pets

$350 provides supplies necessary for a mobile wellness clinic
$500 feeds 20 animals for a month through the HSSV Pet Pantry
$1,200 funds an emergency surgery for a sick or injured animal
$3,000 provides wellness care for 50 pets with loving families

$25,000 provides wellness care for over 400 pets with loving families
