In honor of Clear the Shelters coming up in August, HSSV will be stopping by NBC Bay Area/Telemundo 48 studios on May 12th for a fun day full of puppies.
Join us on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Niles Community Park, Fremont, CA, for a fun-filled day benefiting Furry Friends Rescue and Niles Main Street Association! Join us at Idyll Wines on August 14 for their Dog Days of Summer pop-up! There will be food trucks, artisans, dog trainers, treats, and entertainment. We'll be pouring wine, with the proceeds from every glass going to HSSV. RSVP here for this free event!

HSSV is proud to support the 2025 Stand Down event with Santa Clara Veteran Services Offices on November 7th. During the Stand Down, veterans and their families receive access to a variety of support services, including supplemental Pet Food from HSSV’s Pet Pantry Program! We’re teaming up with eight Bay Area organizations for Champions for Pet Health: Communities Partnering for Wellness and Spay & Neuter.Free spay/neuter surgeries, vaccines, and microchips will be offered for shelter pets, foster pets, family pets, and community cats.
Our shared goal: spay/neuter 600 pets in one weekend—keeping animals healthy, home, and with their families.
