Claire is a gentle, sensitive soul who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. She can be a bit timid and startled by loud noises but beneath that initial shyness is an incredibly curious, brave, and determined little dog.

Since coming into foster care, Claire has made beautiful progress. What began as a reserved and cautious demeanor has slowly blossomed into growing confidence and trust. She approaches life with quiet ingenuity, always observing, learning, and finding her own way forward.

Claire has a soft spot for all things cozy (plush couches, warm blankets, fluffy pillows) and nothing makes her happier than curling up in a comfy nook. On sunny days, you can find her happily soaking up the warmth. She also adores her toys and entertains herself.

Once Claire feels safe with you, her affectionate side truly shines. She becomes your shadow and a devoted cuddle bug who loves to be close and enjoys gentle pets. She’s also impressively smart, listens well, and has great potty habits.

Despite her recent surgery and past injuries, Claire remains agile, active, and full of spirit. With a patient and loving home, she’ll continue to grow into the confident, loyal companion she’s meant to be.
