Hi there… I’m Allon. 🐾

I might seem a little shy when we first meet. The shelter can feel like a big, noisy place, and I’m still figuring things out. I may hang back at first and watch quietly, but if you give me a little time and kindness, you will see my true self start to shine. Once I feel safe, I turn into a happy, wiggly bundle of joy who is just so excited to be your friend.

I even got to spend a night away from the shelter with a staff member once, and wow… I really blossomed! They said I turned into such a fine young man. Being in a cozy home helped me relax, and it showed everyone just how sweet and gentle I really am. Speaking of gentle, I am very polite when taking treats. I make sure to take them softly, because good manners matter!

One thing that really helps me feel brave is having other dog friends around. I LOVE playing with other pups! 🐶 When I am with confident, energetic dog buddies, I feel happier and more relaxed, like I have a teammate helping me learn that the world is not such a scary place after all. I would do best with a playful pup in my new home, someone who can show me the ropes and help me keep building my confidence.

When playtime is over, I am also a big fan of cozy naps. I love curling up in my own comfy bed, though I would not mind the occasional snuggle in yours too. 💛
