Support Our Animals from Home and Earn Service Hours
Thank you for your interest in helping our animals! While onsite volunteer roles are currently limited to individuals 18 and older, students can still make a meaningful impact and earn service hours by supporting our animals from home. There are two great ways students can help.
Foster an Animal and Make a Life-Changing Impact
Open your home to an animal in need by becoming a foster family. Students can foster with the support of a parent or guardian, providing animals with love and stability while they wait for adoption. We provide all necessary supplies and ongoing support. Students may earn service hours for the time spent caring for their foster animal, including feeding, cleaning, socializing, and enrichment.
Craft Fleece Blankets for Shelter Animals
Make no-sew fleece blankets to help keep our cats and kittens warm and comfortable. This easy at-home volunteer project is a great way for students to help animals on their own schedule.
Ready to get started?
– Purchase fleece fabric (no sewing required)
– Follow our step-by-step instructions.
– Each completed blanket earns ½ hour of service
– Drop off completed blankets in the blue donation bin at the front of our shelter
