It's Kitten Season. We Need Your Help.
Each spring and summer, thousands of vulnerable kittens are born across our community. This year, we’re facing an especially tough challenge.
Due to the fire at our Detkin/Oates Animal Community Center, our shelter capacity is significantly limited. While we continue to care for animals in need, we can’t do it alone. Now more than ever, we’re counting on the compassion of our community to help us protect and care for kittens who need support.
Here’s How You Can Help
We currently have no available kennel space for kittens due to the recent fire at our shelter. If you’ve found kittens and are willing to foster them, we may be able to help. Please email us at intake@hssv.org before bringing any kittens to the shelter.
We’ll let you know what’s possible based on current capacity.
