Prerequisite: Beginning Puppy Training or Beginning Manners for Dogs 

Intermediate Manners builds on your dog’s beginner skills and helps them succeed in more distracting, real-world situations. You’ll strengthen focus, improve calm behavior, and continue reinforcing key manners like loose-leash walking, polite greetings, and reliable recall. We introduce fun tricks too, because learning should feel good for both dogs and people. 

This class is ideal for families who want to keep the progress flowing and help their dogs feel more confident in everyday environments. 

Course details: 
• Dogs 18 weeks and older
• Must have completed a beginning-level training class
• Six weeks; one 50-minute session per week
• Dogs attend all sessions

This 3-week class helps dogs and their people turn basic leash skills into calm, confident, real-world walking. You’ll build steadier focus, smoother starts and stops, improved attention around distractions, and the kind of loose-leash habits that make walks relaxing instead of stressful. A strong recall is one of the most important safety skills your dog can learn. You’ll practice convincing your dog to come when called around distractions, and learn how to build an “emergency recall” you can trust in tough moments.

Great for dogs who understand the basics but need more practice staying engaged when the world gets exciting.

A strong recall is one of the most important safety skills your dog can learn. In this workshop, you’ll practice convincing your dog to come when called around distractions and learn how to build an “emergency recall” you can trust in tough moments.

• Bring a hungry, friendly dog on a 6–8’ leash

• Not appropriate for leash-reactive or aggressive dogs

For dogs who need help focusing and settling 

Prerequisite: Beginning Puppy Training or Beginning Manners for Dogs 

Control Unleashed helps dogs who struggle with excitement, overarousal, or difficulty focusing. You and your dog will learn pattern games, relaxation skills, and coping strategies that help dogs stay calm and think clearly during everyday challenges. This class is especially helpful for dogs who get “stuck” in high-energy moments or who need support settling around distractions. 

Course details: 
• Dogs of varying ages with basic manners
• For dogs who can participate safely in a group setting
• Six weeks; one 50-minute session per week 

Pricing: 
• $225 for general registration.

Did your pup age out of puppy socials? Looking to continue your older puppy’s socialization while learning about the challenges of adolescence? Older Puppy Socialization classes are the answer! In this 3-week course, your pup will continue to learn to socialize appropriately with other dogs, while you learn how to keep their attention in distracting environments while navigating the challenges of puppy adolescence. Topics will include distraction recalls, emergency handling, and increased focus on you instead of passing distractions. 

Course details: 
• Puppies aged 18 weeks–18 months
• Three-week course; one 50-minute session per week
• Requires completion of puppy socialization – or – note from dog professional who has observed the dog in other puppy socials, doggy day care or off-leash boarding. 

Pricing: 
• $100 for general registration.

NOTE: This class is NOT for dogs with any type of aggression! It is for socialized older puppies with established play skills.
