All month long, we’re celebrating Valentine’s Day by spreading the love to our shelter pets!
Write a Love Letter
We want to make sure all our shelter pets are feeling the love this month. Help us by writing them a sweet love letter! Come by our Detkin-Oates ACC to visit us and write a handmade love letter to the shelter animal of your choice.

Sweet Roscoe has been feeling the love all month! His admirers have sent him dozens of love letters to show him just how amazing they think he is. Want to send Roscoe a love letter? Or better yet, meet him face to face? Come by! His adoption fee is waived all month long.
The wall outside Canela’s room is quickly being transformed into a Valentine’s wonderland thanks to all her sweet admirers! Write her a love letter or come visit her today!
Send a Candygram
Writing love letters isn’t the only way to spread the love this season! Visit in person or donate online to send a candygram to a special animal. Dogs will receive a festive treat and cats will receive a Valentine’s-themed toy to play with and take home with them! Your candygram will be hand-delivered to the animal of your choice.
There are so many ways to make a shelter animal feel loved this month. Write a love letter by visiting in person, sending a candygram in person or online, or adopting!
