On behalf of everyone at HSSV, thank you for making our first Giving Day a huge success!

We are so grateful and proud of our community for coming together for our first ever Giving Day at HSSV. Thanks to the generosity of nearly 700 individual donors, we surpassed our goal and raised more than $300,000.

Eighty percent of our budget is secured through fundraising, which means we genuinely could not do this without you. Because of your support this Giving Day, we can go further in building a better future even as we rebuild from the fire.

The Future We’re Building

Here is the impact your gifts have made in FY24, and what we will continue to build together:

1.3 million meals

provided to support families facing social and economic adversity.

3,200 hours of free or subsidized vet care provided,

expanding access to high-quality, affordable health care for more pets.

5,700 animals found loving homes,

strengthening the human-animal bond in our community and beyond.

8,900 animals spayed or neutered,

reducing overpopulation and the number of animals entering shelters.
