This is a special event where HSSV, along with 9 other organizations, will be providing free spay/neuter surgeries. It will have an immediate and meaningful impact on the spay/neuter backlog in the region. This event will be held at our Community Pet Clinic.

Our Community Pet Clinic provides low-cost, high-quality veterinary care for pets in our community, with a focus on helping families who may have limited access to affordable services. 

Vaccines, microchip, flea/tick treatment, dewormer, and nail trim, if needed.

This event is supported by LaRussa Rescue Champions, The Dave & Cheryl Duffield Foundation, Maddie’s Fund, and Bissell Pet Foundation. 

If no appointments appear, it means this one-time free event is fully booked. You’re welcome to check online for appointment availability at our regular spay neuter clinics, which offers low-cost services.

We are unable to see dogs weighing more than 20lbs at this clinic. For inquires of spay and neuter for dogs that weigh more than 20lbs, please continue to check our website for updates or email medicalcenter@hssv.org for additional resources.

HSSV recognizes and supports families experiencing financial hardships. Our mobile neighborhood clinics are designed to provide low cost services to those in need. Brachycephalic is the term commonly used to describe a shorter than average skull in animal breeds, that gives the appearance of a more flat or ‘squished’ face. The breeds that most commonly have this are Pugs, French Bulldogs, Boston Terriers, Shih Tzus, Persian cats, British Short Hair cats, ETC. 

Cryptorchid, Cryptorchidism is a condition where one or both testicles fail to descend into the scrotum. 

HSSV is unable to support any brachycephalic or cryptorchid animals at this clinic due to the high-risk needs of their surgery. For further questions and support, please email medicalcenter@hssv.org.
