Humane Society Silicon Valley (HSSV)’s Pet Pantry supports homeless animals, guardians and the community by providing food to pet guardians who cannot afford to feed their pets. Find out how you can get help today.
Humane Society Silicon Valley has a program to keep animals in their homes and ensure that no animals are surrendered to local shelters because their guardians cannot afford to feed them. Pet Pantry supports the community by providing food to pet guardians who cannot afford to feed their pets. Frequently, these animals are given up simply because the guardian has lost his/her job and can no longer provide the food that the animal needs.
Are you experiencing financial hardship and in need of pet food?
To qualify for Pet Pantry assistance, you must be able to show proof that your animal is spayed/neutered. If your pet is not spayed/neutered, a spay/neuter appointment will be made at the time assistance is provided.
Pet Pantry is available to all residents of Santa Clara county experiencing financial hardship. Pet Pantry food is distributed from our Animal Community Center located at 901 Ames Avenue in Milpitas between the following hours:
Sunday: 12pm - 2pm
Tuesday: 12pm - 2pm
Wednesday: 12pm - 2pm
Pet Pantry assistance is offered every 30 days based on availability. Prescription diets are not available. Supply is based on donations and will vary month to month. Addition of another animal to your home while accepting Pet Pantry assistance will result in removal from the program.
