In addition to not pulling\, we will also work on how to get your dog past distractions without losing their mind\, whether they are anxious or just super excited! We will give you the tools to continue this training at home to ensure your pup has great loose-leash skills and reliable recall! This class is not appropriate for leash reactive or aggressive dogs! DESCRIPTION:The first session of this six-week series will be held online. The remaining five classes will be held in-person at HSSV. Attendance at the Week 1 orientation is mandatory. If you miss this first session\, you may not be allowed to attend the rest of the course. In addition to talking about how dogs learn and addressing common behavior challenges\, we will go over the training methods and equipment that you will need for our onsite sessions\, and the class protocols for the rest of the course. \nPlease note that no make-up sessions will be offered. Aside from week 1\, this class is held outdoors\, in the dog training yard. In case of inclement weather\, including rain or excessive heat\, class may be moved to Zoom or postponed. Any skipped class dates will be added to the end of the course\, on the same day and time as the regular class time.  \nClass will run for 6 weekly sessions\, meeting on the same day and time of the week. This class starts on Thursday\, September 4th from 5:00 – 5:50 pm.  \nThe last class in this six-session series will be on October 9th.
