Effie is a sweet and loving momma who is looking for a a loving home while they receive the care they need. Though diagnosed with ringworm, a treatable fungal infection, Effie has a heart full of love to offer. They are seeking a compassionate foster parent who can provide the extra TLC and attention needed during their treatment.

Ringworm is a common fungal infection that is treatable with medication, including topical and oral treatments. Along with these, it’s important to maintain a clean and disinfected environment. Effie will need a patient and understanding foster who can manage the treatment process and provide a safe, comfortable space for recovery. All necessary supplies will be provided.

Since ringworm is contagious to other animals and humans, it’s important to keep Effie isolated from other pets until they have completed their treatment and have received approval from a vet.

Foster to Adopt Option: Effie is available for Foster to Adopt. This means you can begin fostering them to see if they are the right fit for your home before making the decision to adopt. Once fully healed, we’d love for them to become a permanent member of your family.
