Humane Society Silicon Valley (HSSV) accepts any wildlife that comes to our door. We don’t only help dogs and cats! HSSV works with groups that take farm animals, reptiles, ferrets, exotic birds, and even monkeys.

We help to assess and stabilize the animals that are brought to HSSV before they are transferred to the Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley for rehabilitation and eventual release.

Although we are open 24 hours a day for incoming animals, it is usually preferable to take any found wild animals directly to one of the Wildlife Centers during their business hours.
