Lost Pets/Reclaim Information

If you lose your pet, visit each shelter in your area at least once every day.  Many shelters hold strays only three days as required by law.
Humane Society Silicon Valley provides animal shelter services for residents in Sunnyvale. 

Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority (SVACA), http://www.svaca.com provides animal shelter services for residents of Santa Clara,, Monte Sereno and Campbell. SVACA is located at 3370 Thomas Road in Santa Clara (off Highway 101 and Montague Expressway). 408.764.0344.

City of San Jose provides animal shelter services for residents of Milpitas, Los Gatos, Cupertino, Saratoga and San Jose. San Jose Animal Care & Services is located at 2750 Monterey Road (South of Tully Road near County Fairgrounds). 408.578.PAWS.

Remember to always keep identification tags on your pet, most shelters hold identified pets at least ten days. Having your pet microchipped will also help your pet since all local shelters scan each stray animal to check for microchip identification.
