Humane Society Silicon Valley (HSSV) is an independent, nonprofit organization offering high-quality adoptions, medical services, education programs and pet care services to enhance the human-animal bond. In April 2009, we opened our new Animal Community Center in Milpitas that features an Adoption Galleria, Medical Center specializing in affordable spaying/neutering, a Veterinary Hospital with a public viewing alcove, a Pet Store and Pet-Friendly Cafe, Doggie Daycare, Boarding and Grooming, a Dog Park and Training Center, and an Education Center featuring programs for children, teens and families.
