Remembering Nathan Oliveira Acclaimed Artist and HSSV Supporter

Nathan Oliveira, a world renowned artist and Humane Society Silicon Valley (HSSV) honorary board member and donor, passed away Nov. 13 at the age of 81. He will be greatly missed.

Nathan’s ongoing philanthropic loyalty and his service as a member our honorary board were important contributions that played an important role in helping us to save and enhance animals’ lives. We will always be grateful for the many gifts he made to the animals of Silicon Valley.

Last May, Nathan visited our Animal Community Center to see first-hand the life-saving work we are able to do as a result of his, and others’, generosity. When Nathan made his most recent Best Friends contribution to sponsor a dog condo, it was yet another example of his thoughtfulness; a wonderful legacy.

We are saddened to lose such a wonderful supporter and treasured friend.
