Campers will learn a ton about the needs of animals with paws-on experience to boot! At Humane Society Silicon Valley’s (HSSV) summer camp, kids in third to eighth grade will have a well-rounded experience in animal learning.

Camp is full for the 2018 summer season. We do have a small number of needs based scholarship spots available. Please refer to the Blueberry Scholarship information at the bottom of this page.

Summer Camp 2018: Schedule

Please enroll your child into the camp week for the grade they will be going into next school year.
Camp Sessions A and B have the same activities, and are happening in different classrooms with different educators.

Week 1: June 11 - June 15 — FULL

  • Grades: 3rd - 4th

Week 2: June 18 - June 22

Week 3: June 25 - June 29

Week 4: July 9 - July 13

Week 5: July 16 - July 20

Week 6: July 23 - July 27

Week 7: July 30 - August 3

Third – Sixth Grade Camp Activities

Campers will learn practical dog training tips, play therapy techniques, meet wild animals, hang out with pocket pets, and bring home arts and crafts to remember their experience. The best part? They’ll have lots of time to play and cuddle with our dogs, cats, and pocket pets!

Seventh – Eighth Grade Camp Activities

Our middle-school students will get a full learning experience focusing on animal interaction and community service. These sessions are for campers who are ready to take on more responsibility and leadership in their relationship with animals.

Cost: $240 per session

Blueberry Financial Aid Scholarship

Full and partial scholarships are given in memory of a very special Camp Counsellor named Blueberry (Harry). Blueberry’s imagination, creativity, excitement, compassion, and silliness at camp helped hundreds of campers feel safe, happy, and important during their camp session.
