Campers will learn a ton about the needs of animals with paws-on experience to boot! At Humane Society Silicon Valley’s (HSSV) summer camp, kids in third to eighth grade will have a well-rounded experience in animal learning.

Registration for the 2019 summer camp season will open online in late January 2019.

Third – Sixth Grade Camp Activities

Campers will learn practical dog training tips, play therapy techniques, meet wild animals, hang out with pocket pets, and bring home arts and crafts to remember their experience. The best part? They’ll have lots of time to play and cuddle with our dogs, cats, and pocket pets!

Seventh – Eighth Grade Camp Activities

Our middle-school students will get a full learning experience focusing on animal interaction and community service. These sessions are for campers who are ready to take on more responsibility and leadership in their relationship with animals.

Cost: $240 per session

Blueberry Financial Aid Scholarship

Full and partial scholarships are given in memory of a very special Camp Counsellor named Blueberry (Harry). Blueberry’s imagination, creativity, excitement, compassion, and silliness at camp helped hundreds of campers feel safe, happy, and important during their camp session. Fill out an online application.

To request a hard copy application, contact us at or leave a message at 408-262-2133 x137. We will let you know if your “Blueberry” has been granted at least 1 month before your camp session.
