![]() Scout Programs Description: The Humane Society Experience (HSE) is 1.5 hour, interactive workshop with an emphasis on community activism for students or Scout troops. Each workshop concludes with a behind-the-scenes tour of our campus. Each student receives a bookmark, extension worksheet and HSSV fun patch. Topics range from the history of the animal welfare movement, responsible pet care and positive training, to issues related to pet overpopulation. HSE’s fulfill Girl Scout Petal, Try-It, Badge and IP requirements. Bronze & Silver Award Programs Are your scouts ready to earn their bronze or silver award? Would they like to help animals? Join us for a Bronze or Silver Award workshop where troops can earn badge requirements and plan their animal project with the help of qualified HSSV education staff. The workshop is 1.5 hours and is scheduled Monday – Friday. Cost: $13 per girl For Ages: 6 – 15 years old Maximum limit: 15 students per workshop Scheduled: Monday – Friday from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm.
