Education Programs for Kids K - 3rd Grade

	Summer Camp If you’re a kid who loves animals, prepare to be amazed at HSSV’s “Amazing Animals” summer camp! During our five, one-week camps, students will spend each day meeting dazzling dogs, clever cats, rockin’ rabbits, birds of prey, snakes, tortoises, tarantulas and more!
	Birthday Parties Celebrating a birthday? Come celebrate with us? We know how to have a party!
	Classroom Presentations We want to support the work that you are doing in your classroom with kid-approved, interactive presentations designed for students who want to learn more about animals and how to make a difference in their lives.
	Scout Programs The Humane Society Experience (HSE) is 1.5 hour, interactive workshop with an emphasis on community activism for students or Scout troops.
	Center Tours tours begin with a brief history of the animal welfare movement, what it means to be an open-door facility, and interesting behind-the-scenes tidbits as we follow an animal's route through the center.
	Kind Kids Field Trip Join us for a free interactive field trip where students can explore what animals need to feel safe, happy, and healthy and how they can help animals every day.
