Education Programs for Kids 9th - 12th Grade

	Community Service Learning Not only will you learn about dog behavior and communication, how to handle rabbits and what “Kitten Season” is all about, but you will also do some kennel training with dogs and work on service projects that directly help our shelter guests.
	Youth Advisory Board (YAB) YAB members discuss everything from pit bulls to HSSV’s website. They are energetic, whimsical, and passionate about animals. YAB members meet quarterly to discuss their ideas for innovative youth-centric programs at HSSV.
