HSSV Education Department Vision and Mission
The mission of the education department is to explore the history and meaning of our animal kinship and foster a life-long commitment to animals.
Our education department offers a variety of programs for children, teens and adults. Our programs are highly interactive, student-centered and age-appropriate.
Our Compassion in Action program allows middle and high school students to explore animal welfare subjects impacting their community, and the Animal Pals Club allows 10 –15 year olds the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of animals. We offer Caring Communities classes to Santa Clara County teachers, and K-12 education presentations are also available by request..Who Are We:
