Are you looking for a "good as gold" pet? Consider adopting one with a little "silver" around his or her muzzle! At HSSV, we believe that mature pets make wonderful pets.

Under our Golden Pet Program, any qualified adopter who chooses to adopt a dog, cat or rabbit meeting our mature/experienced pet profile, will receive a Golden Heart Reward Card that offers discounts in our Medical Center, Whole Pets store and with HSSV's local business partners.

Qualified adopters age 60 and older will receive a Platinum Heart Reward Card, which offers the same perks as a Golden Heart Reward Card and discounts the adoption fee for a senior pet by 50 percent.

There are many benefits to adopting a senior pet. For example, with a mature pet, what you see is what you get. Older pets have stable, developed personalities and aren't going to get any larger. They are less destructive, don't require constant attention and have fewer housetraining issues.
