Our Foster Care Program

The Special Needs Department manages our Foster Care, Adoption Partner, Wildlife and Exotic programs. Last year approximately 800 animals were fostered, and we partnered with rescue organizations to find homes for more than 2,600 animals. More than 1,800 wild animals were transferred to the Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley after being stabilized by trained personnel in the Special Needs Department.
