3. Come to the shelter and walk through our adoption kennels. They are easy to find - just follow the paw prints.

4. Read the Animal Profiles
Each animal has an information card attached to his/her kennel. The card has the animal's age, sex, breed and spay/neuter status.

5. Get their ID Numbers
If you see any animals you are interested in, write down their ID number(s) (example: A123456) on the back of the application.

6. Meet the Animals One-on-One!
Come back to the host desk and an Adoption Counselor will take you to an acquainting area and introduce you to the animal(s) you have selected. You may come back as often as you like until you find the best pet for your family.

7. Finalize the Adoption!
When you do find the right pet, an Adoption Counselor will finalize the adoption and review behavior and health topics, giving you helpful information about your new family member.
